A SCHOOL in Stockbridge has launched a charity challenge to raise money for the organisation which provided them with their beloved wellbeing dog. Test Valley School on Roman Road is asking members of its school community at Test Valley to run, walk, swim or cycle the 9659km from Stockbridge to Tokyo in time for the start of the opening ceremony of the rearranged Olympic Games on July 23. The Test Valley to Tokyo challenge will raise funds for Helpful Hounds, the charity that provided the school with their wellbeing dog Hope. Helpful Hounds is a charity that purchases, trains and places assistance and therapy dogs with schools and families.
Test Valley School in Stockbridge welcomes a new headteacher TEST Valley School will welcome a new headteacher in the new year. Faye Dean, who is also headteacher at Westgate in Winchester will resign from her role on December 31 and become an associate governor. She will be replaced by Toni Wilden. Business manager Sarah Botwright said: Mrs Dean’s executive leadership and management of Test Valley School will end on December 31 but I am delighted to inform you that Ms Wilden will become the head teacher and take on the leadership and strategic oversight of the school, as well as oversight of operational day to day management to provide direct support to parents and children
