rejected the billion-dollar class action suit by ipod users. a nasa project that cost taxpayers $350 million never took off. but the rocket testing tower was still built. now we re paying to maintain it even though it sits empty. here is abc s jim avila with the story. reporter: this is the rocket tower to nowhere as it sits in mississippi. price tag, $350 million. standing proud and ready to test nasa engines. powerful enough to propel man to the moon and mars. there s only one problem. nasa canceled the rocket it planned to use to take man to the moon and mars in 2010 but congress ordered them to keep building the test tower anyway. not only that, they ordered nasa to keep it in working condition at an additional $700,000 a year.
