RPM Signs has moved into a bigger, more visible location, which will facilitate growth of jobs and services, the companyâs owners said.
A property dispute turned violent over the weekend, resulting in two individuals being shot.
Deputies with the Walker County Sheriffâs Office responded on Sunday to the 100 block of Hawthorne Road in New Waverly, where they were told that a person had been shot. Upon arrival, deputyâs learned that two individuals had gunshot wounds.
Police say that both injured individuals were immediately transported to an area hospital for treatment, with one victim transported by ambulance to Conroe Regional Hospital and the other was taken by Air Ambulance to Houston Hospital. The injuries are not expected to be life threatening, with one person already being released from the hospital.

Officials from the Josey Scout Lodge recently announced another Eagle Scout recipient, Zachary Rebstock from Troop 98. He completed all requirements and had his Eagle Board of Review on in March.Â
Rebstock started his journey to Eagle when he was 10-years-old in 2014, initially joining a troop in Madisonville, then later transferring to Troop 98.
His most memorable camping trip was to Camp Alexander in Colorado. He says the weather was perfect. While at Camp Alexander they had a Polar Bear Plunge at 7 a.m., which allowed those who wanted to earn this award go to the lake when it was 43 degrees and jump into 45 degrees water temperature.

An Indiana County company submitted the only bid on what will be the next step in a major restoration of the historic Johnstown Inclined Plane.
Plant Services Group, 1341 Martin Road, White Township, bid $179,328.40 on the project, listed as âJohnstown Inclined Plane â car undercarriage repairsâ on the PennBid website.
The virtual bid opening was held Friday afternoon.
The companyâs website says Plant Services Group âprovides qualified union support, from management through craft labor, for construction and engineering projects within heavy industrial facilities and the energy industry. We provide all material, labor, equipment and services necessary for execution.â
