Critical patients are waiting longer for ambulances in NSW, new report finds
The latest report into the New South Wales healthcare system has found critical patients are waiting longer for ambulances.
The Bureau of Health Information report shows last year 66.4 per cent of ambulances responding to life-threatening emergencies (P1A call outs) arrived within 10 minutes, a drop of 3.2 per cent from the previous year.
It s the worst response time recorded in five years, with the number of these type of call-outs increasing by 9 per cent.
