A Florida judge found "reasonable evidence" that Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk and other managers knew the automaker's vehicles had a defective Autopilot system but still allowed the cars to be driven unsafely, according to a ruling.
Tesla's Autopilot is involved in another crash, luckily, there were no injuries. A Tesla using Autopilot on the I-76 traveling eastbound crashed into a stationary truck, as it provides assistance to the traffic due to a highway closure.
The lawsuit is scheduled to go to trial on July 31; the plaintiff s attorneys wanted to bring Musk to court to testify on the billionaire s recorded statements about Autopilot.
