it is great to see you all here. i have been living in the district for 12 years now. it is the best district in san francisco. [applause] this year, we get to show how great district 11 really is. thank you for all your hard work making this a great district. district 11, if you did not know, is one of the most of first districts in san francisco. we have every kind of diversity that you can imagine. except what we do not have is the wealthiest people here in district 11. we do not have many multimillionaire s or billionaires . we have working class and middle-class people in district 11. we have the lowest per capita of any district, but we know we are full of hardworking people raising families. we know that we are raising families with the highest number of children in any district. in district 11, we have 5000 more children than average of all the other districts put together. this room may hold 500 people, so 10 times the size of this room is the number of kids we have

we are also working to make sure our voices are heard. this town hall is a big part of making sure that our voices are heard, so thank you for being here. in the last two years not this year, but years before, i served as the chair of the budget committee. this year, we have supervisor carmen chu, who has been very difficult and on enviable job, but will be doing a fabulous as the chair of the budget committee. i know supervisor carmen chu will have some words to say. when you are going through, what you have to do bring the budget to balance with the mayor s office, i want to thank you for your services and effort. and this is a joint project between the mayor s office of housing and the units will be as follo follows. 18 studios, 18 one bedrooms, 22 one bedrooms and 13 three bedrooms. 48% of the units will contain two or more bedrooms. originally 21 are intended for young adult transition out of foster care housing. however, due to a recent additional funding source, that will be increased from 21 to 25 since the drafts of this report. the remaining units are intended for occupancy of houses earning 50% of the median income. it will have five off-street parking spaces and 32 class one bicycle parking spaces for the units and four class one for the commercial space. and there will be, again, a total of 7,841 square feet of on-site open space and the remainder will be met by an adjacent public plaza. the applicant intends several smaller places and the applicant is aware that any such future commercial tenants may require a separate approval process. the project is from the impact fee re
