EUGENE, Ore. - Oregon returns to Matthew Knight Arena on Saturday to host the first of two top-10 teams this week, starting with the Pac-12 home opener against No. 7 Arizona. The Ducks are coming off of a dominant win on the road against California on Sunday, and were initially scheduled to host Arizona State on Thursday before COVID protocols within the Sun Devil program postponed the game.
Oregon has won seven of the last eight meetings with Arizona in Eugene and 10 of the last 12 overall, though the Wildcats won both games last season between the two schools.
EUGENE, Ore. - Oregon opens Pac-12 Conference play when it hosts Utah on Friday at 7 p.m. in Matthew Knight Arena. The Ducks have had the last 13 days off after their game at Northwestern scheduled for Dec. 21 was canceled due to COVID-19 cases within the Wildcats' program. Oregon was then scheduled to have the next 10 days off for the holiday break. The Ducks lead the all-time series between the two schools, 22-9, and have won each of the last 11 meetings dating back to 2016.
Oregon will play its final game before beginning Pac-12 play when it closes out its Midwest road trip with a matchup at Northwestern Tuesday at 6 p.m. PT. The Ducks will look to bounce back from a 68-56 loss at Kansas State on Saturday and go into the holiday break on a winning note. The two teams have split the two all-time meetings, with Oregon winning the last game between the two programs, 68-63, in Evanston on Dec. 1, 1991.
