Often crossed the threshold between the two communities and veterans got lost. Soldiers returning from the recent conflicts, many of them with visible disabilities remind us that the connection is there and veterans with disabilities are still members of the Disability Community and part of the struggle for equal rights and community integration. On a personal note im very happy that one of our councilmembers was able to organize the event for today because this is a special time to be able to connect the two communities. Yesterdays mild weather gave way to a hot and sticky sunday and scattered rain and thunderstorms. Brittney shipp is tracking the weather changes. Where are you seeing storms right now . Right now definitely moving through parts of the suburbs. As we head through the rest of tonight we continue with activity. The thunderstorms are just outside of the philadelphia area. Lets take a closer look moving into parts of newark and as we head into the rest of tonight we are still going to see a chance of storms as we move into the next 30 minutes or so. We expect storms 6 43 closer to 7 00 p. M. In the philadelphia area. Once again we have another batch of moisture and moderate rainfall moving into parts of allen town. This will continue to track to the northeast. Storms moving around 35 miles per hour.
