A groundbreaking ceremony was held on West Edmunds Street off Canton Pike in Hopkinsville Tuesday morning for the third inner-city housing development. Chairman Brad Kirkman with the Hopkinsville-Inner City Community Housing Development Organization says the non-profit organization was incorporated in 2010 with the goal of providing decent, safe, sanitary and affordable housing for low-to-moderate-income people. He says they are pleased to be breaking ground for the new duplex which is their third development in the Canton Pike area.
