Today s installment of Throwback Thursday takes us to the 100 block of North Main on the east side. For the purposes of this article, we are starting at 1970 for this property.
The Frank s Fashion Center, owned by the Finkelstein family had been ongoing since the 1920s. In 1971, the Addison Meschke - Terry Bloskey company bought the property and continued the name until 1974. At that time the name of the store and the exterior were changed to Terry Bloskey for Women clothing store.
In 1981, Terry Bloskey expanded with three stores, 520 through 524 E. 30th, with family, men and juniors outlets. Bloskey continued the women s store at 108 N. Main until 1985.
