The City of Buffalo has a new building inspector.
During this week’s extremely short city council meeting, current building inspector Toby Rhoades informed them that the city had hired Terry Asay to fill the position he will vacate when he retires at the end of December.
Mayor Shane Schrader thanked Rhoades for his service to the
city.
Rhoades also reported that there has not been a decision made as of yet on the hiring of a city planner, and the search will continue.
During the month of December the city has issued nine building permits, one of those for a new house, according to Rhoades.
