Democrats swept the contested seats on the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, winning the at-large seat and the two District A seats on the seven-member board.
Democratic challenger Denise Hartsfield held a lead of about 5,600 votes over incumbent Republican Jim O Neill in the results from early voting in Forsyth County for the 2022 general election,
Early voting starts at 8 a.m. Thursday in Forsyth County and across North Carolina, giving voters 15 days to cast their ballots before the general election on Nov. 8.
