A guest opinion was recently published by Ms. Terri Goon that proclaimed in its title, “Less government is the best government.” This has actually been a prime battle cry of the GOP for over 40 years. But no one should let themselves be fooled by such seemingly reasonable language.

I'm writing to endorse Gary Hodges to represent Ward 3 in Longmont. He is ready to work with businesses and residents in Ward 3. He knows increased vagrancy and crime is impacting businesses and neighborhoods in Ward 3. Incumbent Susie Hidalgo-Faring indicates advocacy for problems the business community in Ward 3 is facing, but there are few apparent results. Also, Gary Hodges is against removing the conservation easement on the land near Airport Road and Highway 119 and favors housing solutions that will not make affordability worse.
