go. a. it will be reduced politicians then we ll see that that s what the voters are going to see. the changes in ourselves, the citizens, maybe it ll come sunday, i don t see it, soon but maybe someday. retired lieutenant. thank you for your time. i want to bring in jackson city council member, terrence freeman. council member, thank you for being with us. my condolences to your community. lindsey, thank you so much for having me. i want to first ask you your thoughts and feelings about what s happened and what you re learning. our city is devastated. yet again, there is been a tragic incident done by a person filled with evil that is shaken our souls. it s morning this service, with several other elected officials. we all just came together, and
are referring to, they will guarantee that they will take place at the national level and the state level. for me and my colleagues, and the city, i believe our responsibility is getting back out into the community and wrapping our arms around those who have suffered such a tragedy in our communities and give our students, college students and elementary students that are returning back to school the confidence that this was an outlier. this is not who we are, this is a city that loves each other, and we will continue to take strong stance against any type of hatred. any type of hatred in this community. terrence freeman, our thoughts are with your community, and certainly the family members of those victims, thank you for your time. coming up later this hour, i will be talking about this shooting and also about the fact that it was racially motivated. coming up in just 60 seconds, what we are learning about a u.s. military aircraft crash that killed three male marines in australia.
