DAVID KAPITAN editor@terrelltribune.com The Terrell City Council continued to push forward with its plans to take on more than 7,000 acres of land this week, conducting the first of two scheduled votes on a series of ordinances pertaining to the annexation matter. Annexation has become a hot button issue for both City of Terrell residents and impacted landowners in recent months, highlighted by a series of public hearings held March 20 and numerous speakers during the public comment portion of the city council’s weekly agenda.
