Terrebonne Government Tower to return to pre-COVID service, but masks still required The Courier and Daily Comet Operations at the Terrebonne Parish Government Tower will return to normal starting Wednesday, eliminating arrangements made during the COVID-19 pandemic, officials said today. One exception remains: All visitors will continue to be required to wear face masks inside the building, at Main and Gabasse streets, Parish President Gordy Dove said in a memo today. The parish has phased in various in-person services at the office building over the past few months as the number of COVID cases has declined locally and statewide and people continue to get vaccinated.

Now that the COVID-19 pandemic is beginning to level out, I want to make sure that my staff does everything possible to make all business transactions with the citizens of our great parish as easy and convenient as possible, Parish President Gordy Dove said in a news release. Residents who visit will need to wear face masks, stay six feet away from others and use hand sanitizers, requirements that remain in place under the state s COVID-19 measures. The entrances on Barrow Street and on Gabasse Street will be open. The one on Main Street will remain closed. Residents can still use the drive-through windows on the first floor of the tower s parking lot on Gabasse Street to pick up registration forms for all TPR sports programs or to pay the following:
