terms term s bogus arguments to cut supply to germany and cut supply to other partners in europe. and they re doing it at a critical time. europe uses natural gas primarily for heat and some for power. and the summer is when they buy enough gas to put into reserves so that they have enough to use when the winter comes and they need it for heating. and that s why it is so concerning to see the decline in these supplies. but i will tell you that despite the fact that we feared this, it also means that we were preparing for it as well in our discussions between the united states and europe, and president biden announced a joint task force with europe on march 25, which i co-chair, where we committed to certain things that we, the united states, would support europe in this time of need and, in fact, we re doing that. so we re here discussing both the supply side, how much gas
didn t mess around with anything else. neil: were there drop dead moments for him where that ronald reagan said i won t compromise? the closest i got from this president was certainly on that 20% corporate rate. he didn t want to budge from that. might be a little bit more on some of this other stuff and changes and income ranges for the three established rates. we made a very big compromise in the terms term. it was the 30% across the board. we gave up the first 5% and put it off a year. we cut it from 30 to 25% and cut ate year. to a certain extent, reagan was willing to compromise but he had his principles. that s not a big of a compromise as what trump is talking about here. they re talking about a fourth bracket. that defeats the purpose here to some extent. in my mind it does, charlie. democrats will be happy to create a fourth bracket. money will call you and drive it
