(Photo by Michael Ciaglo/Getty Images) OAN Newsroom UPDATED 6:40 PM PT – Thursday, April 15, 2021 An active shooter was killed after shots were fired at the San Antonio International Airport. According to reports, police said they received a call of a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road at Terminal B. A Park Police officer, who was working overtime at the airport, then confronted the driver. There is a confirmed officer-involved shooting at 9800 Airport Blvd. There is no active threat to the public. As a precaution, the Airport has been put on lock down. No other injuries are reported. Police stated the suspect then jumped out of the vehicle and began firing at the Park Police officer and into the terminal behind him, as well. The officer returned fire and the suspect, whose name has not yet been disclosed, was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
