Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that more than a quarter million COVID-19 vaccine appointments were made on Sunday, after eligibility opened for people with underlying conditions. But due to the lack of vaccine supply, all but four state-run vaccination sites are fully booked through April 16th.
Last week, state officials announced that millions of New Yorkers with pre-existing conditions like cancer, kidney disease, pregnancy, immunocompromised states such as being HIV positive , and obesity would be able to register for vaccinations on February 14th. In New York City alone, the pool of the eligible parties, including prior groups such as essential workers and those over 65 years old, has
