MANILA – Urban poor advocates and human rights defenders are grieving over the killing of Negros-based community organizer who was gunned down by motorcycle-riding assailants last week along a busy road in Silay City.

+ April 08, 2021 MURCIA Mayor Gerry Rojas, two members of the Municipal Council and a former council member have tested positive for Sars-CoV-2, which causes the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz confirmed this after the results were released Wednesday afternoon, April 7, by the Provincial Molecular Laboratory at Teresita Jalandoni Provincial Hospital.
Diaz named the two Murcia councilors who tested positive for coronavirus as Belen Magbanua and Adrian Olimpo, while the former council member is Ruben Taneza.
The said officials who are asymptomatic were brought to the Provincial Quarantine and Healing Center at Mambukal Resort also in Murcia Wednesday, Diaz said.
