Group home in Lafayette under investigation after teen was reported missing
New Jersey Herald
LAFAYETTE Authorities are investigating the circumstances of a teen recently reported missing overnight from a Meadows Road group home, the third known incident in the last six months that required a police response.
The teen was found safe the next morning at the Frankford Township Elementary School, about 6 miles away from the home, after a police helicopter unit spent the night looking for him, said Lafayette Deputy Mayor Kevin O Leary. We can confirm that the juvenile was a 15-year-old male, said New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry. Because of his juvenile status and the fact that he was found safely, we will not be providing any additional information on this investigation.
