Police say the father was traveling eastbound on whitacre attempting to turn on to jericho when the car was struck by the driver of a minivan going at a high rate of speed swerving in and out of the lane before the accident. He stopped to check the damage to his van and got back in and left. Hes claiming he suffered a diabetic event. Police say that doesnt explain why he fled the scene. The eightyearold was rushed to st.
