Portland Trail Blazers’ Robert Covington scores season-high 21 on mother’s birthday: ‘I woke up in a great mood today’

His mother, Teresa Bryant, was celebrating her birthday, and Covington got to spend time with family.
“I woke up in a great mood today,” Covington said.
“And to top it off with a victory and come out and play well, I’m just thankful that we were able to do enough to get a victory tonight,” Covington said.
