Authorities identify man stabbed to death in Berks County

A Berks County man was stabbed to death Monday night in the home he shared with several adults and children, prosecutors said.
Terance Maurice Myers Sr., 35, was found dead in a second-floor bathroom on Hillside Road in Exeter Township, Reading, according to a news release from the Berks County District Attorney’s Office.
County authorities determined Myers died of a single stab wound to the left side of his chest. The Berks County Coroner’s Office ruled his death a homicide.
A man and woman called police around 10:45 p.m. to tell them there had been an accident, that Myers had a cut to his chest and was not breathing, according to prosecutors.

Officers responded to the home after receiving a 911 call at 10:44 p.m. from a man, who then handed the phone to a woman. She reported that there had been an accident, that the man had a cut to his chest, and that he was not breathing, officials said.
