A Singapore-born British doctor was fatally shot during a protest in South Africa. Teoh Kar Hao, a 40-year-old consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, was shot dead in front of his wife and two-year-old son on Aug 3. The family was on holiday in South Africa. Teoh had reportedly made a wrong turn while driving.
