A BID to build a bungalow in a Halesowen garden has been turned down by planners. They deemed the proposal to build a detached bungalow in the garden of 2, Tenterfields, for elderly parents to be detrimental to the character and distinctiveness of the residential area. The decision was made yesterday (March 15) and notes that the two-bedroom bungalow would be inappropriate cramped and contrived. Planners go on to say that: The proposed development would not provide suitably design parking provision to prevent highway safety implications, as well as interfering with the free flow of traffic on the highway at this junction.
