democratic party. look, the mood is sort of tense amorning the democrats. my sense is they ve been sounding a semi-alarm and also hopefully the country avoids a default here, but there is a sense of pessimism that this will require some serious con segs among the democratic way of the party and among the white house, but there s also a general frustration that most of capitol hill has been left in the dark, and, frankly, that s just the reality of negotiating this late in the game. why hasn t president biden like some of the democrats been saying out front and center, talking to the public, talking about the sticking points, letting the public know what the republicans are refusing to dos where kevin maccarthy has been holding a news conference each time he s had a meeting with president biden? that s been one of the major differences between the two parties throughout these negotiations. what i ve been told is the white house wants to try and not
