Rutherford County, TN — Brian Gaither is the new Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services’ (RCEMS) Director, announced Mayor Bill Ketron Monday.The move proactively fills the director’s position vacancy left by Carl Hudgens’ approaching retirement in January 2022.Gaither, a lifelong resident of Rutherford County, started his career with RCEMS as an emergency medical technician (EMT) in May 1996. Chairman of the Governing Board of the NNMA, Prof Shekarau Yakubu, noted late October 2018, that out of three dozen nominations for the award, his own was the only entry which met all the criteria enunciated as prerequisites for the award.
