CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – As a major storm rolls toward Middle Tennessee, weather radios in Montgomery and surrounding counties are offline.
Three Middle Tennessee National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration radio transmitters are offline as of Thursday morning, according to Clarksville Now news partner WKRN, Channel 2. The down transmitters are impacting Montgomery, Stewart, Dickson, Hickman and Robertson counties, in addition to Christian and Todd counties in Kentucky.
“They are working on it,” said Ed Baggett, Montgomery County EMA director. “They have found the problem and are working on getting it back up.”
Tornado sirens are not affected.
