Legieza honored during Tennessee Police Memorial

The 20th annual Tennessee Police Memorial, hosted by the Tennessee Fraternal Order of Police and Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS), was held Tuesday at Legislative Plaza at the Tennessee State Capitol, honoring Tennessee police officers who paid the ultimate sacrifice while in the line of duty.     Fallen Brentwood officer Destin Legieza, who was killed in the line of duty in June 2020, was one of those honored. Members of the Brentwood Police Department and Legieza’s family were in attendance.   “Attending the Police Memorial Tuesday morning with Brentwood officers, Destin’s family and others from around the state provided us with an opportunity to remember and honor the memory of those officers in Tennessee, including Destin, who have paid the ultimate sacrifice,” Brentwood Police Chief Jeff Hughes said. “It was a moving ceremony to show support for those survivors who have lost loved ones. We were honored to be in atten
