Selangor Health director Datuk Dr Sha’ari Ngadiman (

“In Selangor only Hospital Sungai Buloh and the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) 2.0 Integrated Hospital exclusively handle Covid-19 cases, ’’ said Dr Sha’ari, adding that the latter was also equipped with intensive care unit requirements.
According to Dr Sha’ari, when patients are diagnosed with Covid-19 in other hospitals, they are sent to MAEPS if they are under category 1 or 2.
“If their condition is more serious, they are sent to Hospital Sungai Buloh or treated at the hospital they had initially gone to, ’’ he said.

PUTRAJAYA: Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah says there were some health workers who still went for work despite exhibiting Covid-19 symptoms, adding that some even failed to wear masks in the hospital.
In a press conference, he said they should have taken leave instead of coming to the hospital for work since Covid-19 infections were rampant in the community.
“There are some who were infected and had symptoms but still came to the hospital (for work) and some didn’t wear masks, for example. So infections started to happen in the hospital,” he said when asked on the outbreak in certain hospitals.
