ADEL, Ga. (WTXL) â The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Adel Police Department officers have arrested a man in connection to the murder of a Valdosta woman over the weekend.
According to GBI and APD investigators, at around 4 p.m. on Dec. 19, APD responded to the 1100 block of Birch Street in reference to a body found in a wooded area.
Upon officersâ arrival, they found a woman that was dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
Authorities identified the woman as Tenesha Mordon, 41, of Valdosta.

ADEL, Ga. (WALB) - An arrest was made Saturday in connection to a murder investigation in Adel, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI).
Lebray Berrian, 32, was charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime in connection to the death of Tenesha Mordon, 41.
The suspect was taken to Cook County Jail.

ADEL â A Cook County man was charged over the weekend with murder in the death of a Valdosta woman, authorities said Monday.
Saturday, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Adel police arrested Lebray Berrian, 32, of Adel, according to a GBI statement.
Berrian was charged with one count of felony murder, one count of aggravated assault, one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, in connection to the death of Tenesha Mordon, 41, of Valdosta, the statement said.
At 4 p.m. Saturday, Adel police responded to 1113 Birch Street, Adel, in reference to a 911 call of a body found in a wooded area.Â
