And a deadline to raise the nations debt limit, just nine days away. Lets stop the excuses. Lets take a vote in the house. Lets end this shutdown right now. Lets put people back to work. Reporter the president called House Speaker john boehner tuesday morning, reiterating, hes willing to talk about the budget after Congress Passes bills to fund the government and increase the debt limit. Without any conditions. Members of congress and the House Republicans in particular dont get to demand ransom in exchange for doing their jobs.
