Clear & Present Danger: Industrial Wind Turbines Pose Permanent Wildfire Threat
Contrary to their ‘super-safe’, ‘clean’, ‘green’ image, giant industrial wind turbines are the perfect incendiary device.
Around the world, hundreds have exploded into in palls of smoke and balls of flame – in the process – each one raining molten metal and over 1,000 litres of flaming gear oil and hydraulic fluid (see our post here) and burning plastic earthwards.

89shares
2020 saw Germany’s SMA sign contracts for around 1.6 gigawatts of central inverter capacity for use in large-scale solar installations across Australia.
SMA claims to have captured market share of approximately 65 percent of the total 6.5 gigawatts of central inverter capacity committed locally by the end of 2020.
“Despite all the challenges we faced this year due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 has been a highly successful year for SMA Australia,” said Michael Rutt, Managing Director.
The contracts signed during 2020 include supply of SMA central inverter products for 15 large-scale projects scattered throughout Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory
