The local health unit is well on its way to surpassing the 40 per cent COVID-19 vaccine target Ontario officials pledged to hit during the latest lockdown, Lambton’s medical officer of health says.
About 39 per cent of the eligible population in Sarnia and Lambton County has received at least one dose of the vaccine, according to figures released Wednesday by Lambton public health. Dr. Sudit Ranade said that figure is “great” but also just a number.
