Delia goncalves is live on c street with more on what happened here. Reporter this is a tough story to tell. We are live in the 5400 block of c street. Lots of neighbors are out. There is quite the Police Presence here outside the apartment. We know the mother of that 1 yearold child is inside of a detective vehicle at this very moment. But two other children, this babys siblings under 5 years old being cared for in a separate apartment. Now were told lots of neighbors were concerned about the welfare of this 1yearold child who initially was in cardiac arrest today when fire crews and emergency crews came here to the scene a short time ago. Neighbors were so concerned that at one point Someone Called Child Protective Services on this mother out of deep concern for the welfare of her children. They dont know what exactly happened but unfortunately know how the day ended with that 1yearold child, a little girl, were told, now dead and police on the scene trying to get to the bottom of it
