Addressing the launching ceremony, Khan said the honey-making drive was inaugurated to benefit the local community who will get jobs in the process of honey production and its export. Pakistan is the fifth most vulnerable country to climate change in the world, and it is a big challenge for the government to address this issue, he said, adding that the forest cover in the country is vanishing quickly, and restoring forests and planting more trees is one of the main preferences of his government to protect the future of coming generations.
