Georgian judokas have won a total of eight medals at the Tel Aviv Grand Slam, taking second place in the group competition after France.
Male judokas Lasha Bekauri and Gela Zaalishvili won gold medals in their respective weight categories.

“This match was just about feeling,” she said afterwards. “It’s about feeling good. I don’t remember what I did, or when I did it. I just feel it and now it’s finished and I won by Ippon!”
