Cradley Heath pupils go blue for loos in Africa

Pupils at the school dressed in blue for the fundraiser PUPILS turned a Cradley Heath school blue for the day to help pay for toilets in deprived countries. Temple Meadow Primary, Wrights Lane, held a ‘Blue for a Loo’ day where children and staff dressed in blue and made donations to the charity Toilet Twinning. The school has already funded ‘twinned’ toilets in Malawi and the Democratic Republic of Congo through its work with the charity. The toilets in Malawi and the Congo that the school is twinner with Pupils also took part in a toilet quiz and learned more about the charity’s work on their way to raising £119.

Covid won t spoil out Christmas - Temple Meadow Primary vows

The Santa Run at Temple Meadow A CRADLEY Heath primary school has staged a festive Santa Fun Run - vowing that Covid won t spoil its Christmas. Pupils and staff at Temple Meadow Primary donned Christmas jumpers and hats and completed laps of its track, with each year group safely within their bubbles. A spokesman for the school on Wrights Lane said: COVID has not been allowed to spoil Christmas at Temple Meadow. We are still having fun and reaching out safely at Temple Meadow to our school community and beyond. As we are a Green Flag Eco School, we asked pupils to include recycled materials and old Christmas decorations such as baubles and tinsel on their hat.
