The Minister of Foreign Affairs has warned that Western countries and NATO members must be prepared “for all scenarios”, working at the same time on defense.
The majority of parliamentary groups are in favour of a future separation of the security and administrative functions of the Foreigners and Borders Service.
Algarve illegal immigrant route being investigated
The existence, or not, of an illegal immigration route to the Algarve is under investigation , according to the Minister of State and the Presidency, Mariana Vieira da Silva.

The restructuring of SEF is not taking place due to the repercussions of the death of a Ukrainian citizen at Lisbon airport last year according to the Minister of Internal Affairs.
