Bethune promoted to banking officer
Peoples Bank Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Larry Allen, announced the promotion of Samantha Bethune to banking officer.
Bethune is Teller Supervisor the bank s location at 5820 82nd St. in Lubbock.
Bethune has been in the banking industry for three years. She was raised in Shallowater, and graduated from Shallowater High School. She has two daughters, Trinity and Jasmynn, who inspire her daily to be the best version of herself that she can be. In her free time she enjoys camping, swimming and gardening with her family
• Some IT Banking experience preferred
• Fluent in English & Korean preferred Loan Officer (Orange County)
• BA/BS Degree in Business, Accounting or Related Field.
• Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits.
• Detail oriented and be able to multi-task while meeting important deadlines.
• Communicate with clients either to requests or to provide information.
• Monitoring and evaluating credit to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Solid understanding of lending products and practices.
• Excellent communication and written skills in English, and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in English & Korean.
• Credit Administration Officer: Minimum 2-3 years of loan/credit admin experience preferred but not required.
the tornado was going, where it was, while the teller supervisor and i got everybody into the vault. we had everybody in place. so that at the last minute we could shut the door. since it is a small place we didn t want to be in there any longer than we had to. they shut the door not long after we went in there and it hit not long after. it was a relatively small vault. it was crowded but if there were more people we would have crowded them in. you would have. yes, sir. is there enough oxygen and air? can you breathe in those vaults for a long time? they have a fan built into them so if you get locked in you can turn on the fan and as soon as we pulled the door closed i did turn on the fan. what did you hear when the tornado is ripping apart the building? it was very loud. we could hear things crashing into the wall. we could hear the wall we could feel the wall for sure. the whole vault was just
