Telekom Srbija to lease fibre optic infrastructure to Telenor Serbia Source: Telekom Srbija BELGRADE (Serbia), January 29 (SeeNews) - Serbian state-controlled Telekom Srbija plans to lease its fibre optic infrastructure to Telenor Serbia as part of the liberalisation of the country s telecommunications market, it said. Such cooperation would bring numerous benefits to users and enhance competition and innovation in the telecommunications industry, which is the basic intention of both companies, Telekom Srbija said in a statement on Thursday. The lease-out will be carried out under commercial terms.  Telekom Srbija s copper telecommunications infrastructure has already been liberalised and is used by several operators, Telekom Srbija said.
