Countries in West and Central Africa are on high alert to the possible spread of two separate Ebola outbreaks in Guinea and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), as at least seven people have died from the virus so far this month.
Guinea declared an Ebola epidemic on Sunday following an outbreak in Gouécké in the southeast region of Nzérékoré, near the border with Liberia.
