Telangana SSC results likely to be announced in two weeks

Hyderabad: Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) likely to announce SSC results in two weeks. The DGE which is popularly known as SSC board will award grades to students based on their performance in formative assessment conducted by the schools.
According to a report published in Telangana Today, the students who remained absent or failed in the formative assessment will be given passing marks.
As schools were able to conduct only one formative assessment, marks obtained by students in it will be considered to award Grade Point Average (GPA). In the current year, 5,21,393 students have registered for the SSC exams.

Staff nurse posts: TSPSC merit list released

Hyderabad: Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) on Tuesday released merit list for staff nurse posts in the Director of Public Health and Family Welfare, and Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad (Health, Medical and Welfare Department).
According to a report published in Telangana Today, TSPSC said, “After verification of certificates, changes in service weightage marks of five candidates and changes in qualification weightage marks of 513 candidates and changes in other bio-data particulars such as zone, community, etc., of several candidates are noticed. These changes are carried out in the general ranking list and final merit is prepared”.

After reports on misuse of temple funds at Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple in Telanganaâs Vemulawada have surfaced, authorities have suspended the involved employee, Venkatesh, who siphoned off Rs 40 lakh that belongs to the temple.
The employee from the sales department of the temple under government control has misguided the authorities by submitting wrong statistics of laddu sales involving sale of two lakh laddus worth Rs 40 lakh.

Telangana Today that though irregularities came to light, the laddu production department officials did not inform the higher officials as the employee involved in fraud had repaid the amount when he was questioned about the irregularities.

HYDERABAD: The by-elections for the Lingojiguda ward under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits commenced at 7AM on Friday amidst strict COVID-19 protocols. Around 57 polling stations have been set up in the ward,where more than 47, 379 people are enrolled as electors in the Lingojiguda ward. As per reports in Telangana Today, 6,164 people cast their votes by 11 AM, which was at 12.52 polling percentage.
The polls were necessitated following the sudden death of BJP corporator-Akula Ramesh Goud, who had won during the GHMC elections held in December 2020.
The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) had decided against contesting the Lingojiguda ward by-elections after an appeal made by the BJP who in a delegation led by former MLC N Ramachander Rao met TRS working president KT Rama Rao requesting to refrain from contesting on humanitarian grounds. Akula Ramesh Goud s son was fielded as the BJP candidate.
