KCR skips Telangana Budget Presentation: K Chandrashekhar Rao, the former chief minister and president of the BRS party, made the choice to not attend the Legislative Assembly where the state s vote-on-account budget was being presented. This decision was made in order to avoid the potential humiliation of receiving an invitation from the government to visit the Medigadda barrage on February 13.
Telangana Budget Presentation Highlights: Telangana s Deputy Chief Minister, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, revealed the Vote on Account budget for 2024-25 today, amounting to Rs 2,75,891 crore. Among this budget, Rs 2,01,178 crore has been assigned for revenue expenditure, while Rs 29,669 crore has been set aside for capital expenditure.
