The so-called Iron Dome and David’s Sling and Arrow are short-, medium- and long-range missiles, designed to intercept a variety of objects, including enemy aircraft, drones, ballistic missiles, medium- to long-range rockets and cruise missiles. The defense ministry of Israel for the first time performed successful firing tests of a wide range of new sea-borne aerial defense systems. Tests were performed by Rafael Advanced Systems and Tel Aviv s Air Force and Navy, with targets fired from sea-based launchers imitating various missiles and drones, Fox News reported on Tuesday.
