The Black Church: This Is Our Story, This Is Our Song, PBS documentary series by Dr. Henry Louis Gates premiering in Atlanta PBS Tuesday, February 16 at 9pm. This powerful documentary explores the church’s powerful influence as the spiritual, cultural, and political epicenter of the African American community. WCLK s Morris In The Morning Baxter, host of Morning Jazz Monday-Fridays 6a-10a, was asked to be part of a Black History Month effort for Elizabeth Baptist Church in Southwest Atlanta.
