MILLERSBURG The new year is a time of setting goals, and the Holmes County District Public Library is helping community members set and reach goals through their winter reading program, which kicked off this week.
Christina Thurairatnam, head of reference and Adult Services at the library, said the reading program, called Reading Through the Year for adults, is in its fourth year, and designed to encourage people to read. Patrons can sign up and set their own goal for how many books they want to read through the year, Thurairatnam said. We ask that their goal be at least 10 books, and if they reach their goal they will be entered in our grand prize drawing. Whether your goal is 12 books or 200 books, if you meet your goal you will be entered in the grand prize drawing.
