Before you show up for the interview, connect with the booker about whether there is an opportunity to provide either promotional handouts, or content handouts branded with your logo and contact information. Iâve been many speakers show up empty handed while other speakers came prepared. E has two applications: Engagement and Experiential. These two words are buzzwords in the speaking and online worlds. Itâs not enough to just show up and talk. You need to engage the audience, to get them involved in some practice, ritual or experience. The more interconnected and sensory the experienceâthe more emotional the connectionâthe more the audience will remember you and sing your praises. Present a booker with some of the ways that you make it more than just a speech or PowerPoint presentation, and the more often you will get booked!
