Cowboy s 2021 NFL Mock Draft - Surtain and Trading Back By chrispuc on Apr 1, 2021, 2:26pm CDT +
Round
They selected Gregory Rousseau and I selected Patrick Surtain at #10.
I was pretty happy about being able to grab an extra 3rd round pick and still be able to get Surtain.
I drafted Eric Stokes next. He s very fast (4.25s forty), makes plays on the ball, and is a competent tackler.
I was happy to be able to grab Jevon Holland at the beginning of the 3rd round.
While adding Tyson Campbell at pick #77 might seem a bit extreme (i.e. 3 CBs out of first 4 picks), he is also lightning fast, tall, and can ball.

My badly timed fanpost: DT prospects!
Timing is everything in life. I spent a few weeks of my free time looking at a bunch of tape on interior D line prospects because it was such a big Viking need. Then Dalvin Tomlinson happened.
So I think its safe to say we won’t be using a high pick on ANY of these guys. The truth is, it’s a fairly weak class, so very understandable the Vikes went the free agency route. I only saw two guys that I thought were worthy of high picks in the draft, and Barmore might not even make 14 (I actually think he can last later but I digress). Anyway, since I did all the work on this, thought I would share my thoughts so let’s get to it:
